PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD guest terms and conditions.

Booking Conditions.

Bookings of all holiday accommodation whether made by telephone, e-mail, in person, in writing or over the internet are accepted by PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD acting as agent on behalf of the Owner on the following terms.

PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD act only as agents for Owners.

The contract is for the hire of the Property for holiday purposes only. PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD does not accept Bookings from clients under 18 years of age and we reserve the right to cancel a booking made by anyone who is under 18 at the time the Booking was made.

 

INITIAL PAYMENT.

Bookings will be reserved upon receipt of the required deposit payment of 10% of booking. If the Booking is made less than 60 days before the holiday commencement date, the full price will be required to be paid at the time the booking is made. Deposits can be paid by debit card, credit card, or BACS transfer. In the case of web bookings, these can be paid online through our secure payment system.

The full amount will be due 60 days before arrival. 

 

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING.

PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD will issue a written confirmation of booking by email or post, if preferred. Amendments to bookings, where applicable and accepted by PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD (on behalf of the Owner), will be subject to an administration fee of £30 for each amendment. 

 

BOOKING CANCELLATION.

If you wish to cancel your booking you must inform PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD as soon as possible in writing (including by e-mail). The day we receive your notice to cancel is the date on which will cancel your booking with the owner.

If it is 30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund., if cancelled before the 30 days we will hold full amount of booking. 

Exclusions and full refund within the 30 days:

Any recurring, chronic, or continuing illness or condition and pre-existing medical conditions or injuries.

Pandemic as declared by the World Health Organisation, Department of Health or DEFRA.

Travelling against medical advice.

 

PETS IN PROPERTIES.

We charge £30 to accommodate dogs in our pet friendly properties. 

If they are any damages to property we will take necessary charges to any damage caused. 

 

AMENITIES.

The use of accommodation and amenities, where offered, such as swimming pools, hot tubs, gardens, beach huts, equipment etc, is entirely at the guests risk and the owner excludes all responsibility or liability for injury, loss or damage to guests or visitors’ belongings.

Any damages to the property, guests will be fully liable for during the stay and will be asked to report immediately to PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD. Charges will be made if necessary. 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES.

For the duration of your stay at the property, you will be responsible for the property and will be expected to take all reasonable care of it. The property and all equipment and utensils must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period. If a property has any damages or is not left in a reasonably clean state additional cleaning costs will be charged. 

 

COMPLAINT PROCEDURE.

We aim to provide a high level of customer service and want all our guests to be happy with their holiday. In the unlikely event that you have any issues with your accommodation, please get in touch with us as soon as possible during your stay so that we can do our best to put it right.

 

OUR LIABILITY.

As PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD act only as agents for the owner, we cannot accept any legal responsibility for any act or neglect on their part or of anyone representing or employed by them. Further, PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD cannot accept any liability for any problems or faults with or in any property. The owner is solely responsible for providing the accommodation and for the safety of all guests. PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD have no responsibility for personal injury, death, of any guests. Or loss of or consequential loss or damage to belongings in their property, or for other matters over which PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD has no control. 

Other than in relation to any liability which it is not possible to exclude at law, the owner’s and PORT PROPERTIES (SOUTH WEST) LTD liability for any claims arising out of or in relation to the Contract of Hire of property does not exist. 

In the event of any dispute between parties it shall be referred to the jurisdiction of the English courts only and any actions shall be heard in the court for the area in which the property is situated and valid on terms and conditions stated.
